Beautiful, beautiful quilt, Violet! But I'm a nut for Fresh Cut in the same way I'm a nut for AB (especially Gypsy Caravan). We have to go fabric shopping together sometime! Anyway, I LOVE the quilt, but I'm having a mini panic attack about the Gypsy Caravan quilt! I really loved it, so I'm having trouble picturing it any other way, but I so understand your description of that great feeling when you do take a leap and change directions. Oh, Violet, I didn't mean to scoop you. I thought that since you announced it at the meeting.... Well, I am sooooooooo happy for you (and not at all surprised)! I can't wait to see your name on those selvages and make something fabulous with your fabrics. I'm looking forward to reading all about your journey to becoming a fabric designer (Eeeek!
