A Freshcut Housewarming Gift

Some friends recently moved into a new home and had a little shindig. Her new kitchen is light and bright with warm honey wood cabinets. I thought some Heather Bailey Freshcut was the perfect addition to her kitchen.

I used a microfiber towel with Freshcut fabrics and vintage golden pom pom trim to accent. The oven mitts are in Freshcut floral and Amy Butler Ginger Bliss paisley. The sewing pattern for the mitts is one of my favorites. I have the pattern loaned out right now so I can't tell you who it is by. Yes, I am pretty ashamed that I don't remember as much as I've used this pattern for gifts! As soon as I get it back I'll update this post with the information.

  4. Did someone say party? What color is your kitchen? :)

Traci - take your time! And thank you. I had fun doing a little blog-remodel.

Wendy - why not start with some oven mitts and towels? If you sew it, they will come. Or something like that! :)
